10 ways to destress after a long work week

Experiencing stress after a long work week is very common and can leave you feeling exhausted more mentally rather than physically. Here are some few tips to feel better and prepare for the next week.


1:Sleep well and avoid late night parties, and heavy alcohol if you are already stressed as this will make you feel worse.

2:Maintain the same routine such as getting up early so as to not break the cycle and avoid trouble sleeping during your next week.

3:Try to relax by reading, gardening, walking, outing, meeting a friend to talk, listen to your favourite music, exercise. Do what makes you feel less stressed and gives you pleasure and enjoyment.

4:Breakfast, lunch and dinner should be the same as you have on your normal working day.Try to eat healthy foods if you are feeling stressed.

5:Try not bring your work home with you.

6:Plan a pamper day.

7:Spend some time with your loved ones.

8: make notes of your worries as this helps to let go.

9:Mindfulness is great for relaxation and being in the moment to relieve stress.

10:Plan your activities in advance for the coming weekends.
